Cannabis worth €90,000 seized at Shannon Airport

Herbal cannabis with an estimated street value of €90,000 has been seized at Shannon Airport.

Revenue officers uncovered 4.5 kilos of the drug last Friday.

The drugs were discovered in a parcel labelled as 'clothing'.

The package originated in Spain and was destined for an address in Carlow.

Investigations are ongoing.
